Cyber Security Awareness Refresher (CSR)

Evolving work practices bring with them challenges and changes in the way we conduct business, from file-sharing amongst teams to working remotely – and they all impact our cyber security. While advances in technology have helped us stay connected and productive, it has also made us vulnerable to cyber security threats. In this new era of remote working, for example, phishing attacks are on an all-time rise.

GAC has proactively taken steps to protect the Group from cyber-attacks. As GAC employees, we are all responsible for identifying and avoiding fake emails and websites used to threaten company information.

The Cyber Security Awareness Refresher (CSR) course helps you identify cyber security threats, learn how to avoid them and safeguard your and GAC’s information.

The CSR course covers the following key areas:

Document Classification
Insider Threat
Phishing
Wire Transfer Fraud
Identity Theft

Format

The CSR course is delivered in a self-paced format through GAClearn and can be completed in under an hour within a 4-week timeframe. All modules are assessed through scenarios and a short test, culminating in a final quiz at the end of the course.

The GAC Group Management expects that all GAC employees are provided with sufficient time to complete the core requirements of each course within working hours.
