The MHF course covers the following key areas:

• Identify and understand the difference between those who are struggling with mental health or in a mental health crisis.
• Identify and respond to depression, anxiety disorders and addiction.
• Identify and respond to mental health crises like suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress, and the effects of substance abuse.

Format

MHF is a 10-hour virtual workshop run over three days with a maximum of 20 participants in each workshop to ensure sufficient time for practice and mastery of the workshop content.

The GAC Group Management expects that all GAC employees are provided with sufficient time to complete the core requirements of each course within working hours.
