A well-established Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policy with supporting procedures is of utmost importance to both the GAC Group and our principals.
GAC is a service provider with a focus on performance, and our main asset is our people. Therefore, we must ensure that within GAC we can work in a healthy, safe and secure environment. Likewise, when we are working with customers and suppliers, it is essential that we maintain a level of HSSE that fits not only with our own standards, but theirs as well.
Failure to continually improve or comply with the Group’s HSSE standards can be very costly both in terms of money and – in the worst case – the loss of life.
This course is designed to provide a strong foundation and working knowledge of HSSE basics, how HSSE is incorporated into our GAC culture, the impact it has on our relationships with customers, and what you personally can do as an HSSE ambassador in the GAC World.

“The HSSE course offers detailed learning about the different HSSE procedures and policies followed in GAC as well as its key customers. It also provides us with information on different HSSE terminologies, how HSSE is implemented in GAC, and what is our role in HSSE in the everyday working environment. It was a great learning experience.”

“Being part of this HSSE programme and learning more about the HSSE procedures has made me be more aware of the health and safety hazards around me. I now understand better that it takes a collective effort to keep our environment safe to live in, it has also helped me to be more safety conscious. Having been a part of this course as truly been a wonderful experience. I have learnt a lot.”
