The Compliance and Ethics (CNE) course is designed to make sure all GAC employees understand GAC’s compliance and ethics policies.
GAC is committed to ensuring that all its business is undertaken ethically and transparently. This means working within the specific requirements and spirit of all laws, regulations and GAC policies creating an honest, ethical and transparent environment, with integrity at its heart.
International legislation such as the UK Bribery Act 2010 and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) are two examples of legislation in force that significantly impact GAC’s global operations. Our customers seek evidence of our compliance with such legislation. GAC’s ability to prove its ethical and compliant operation also impacts our ability to secure new business.
The CNE course provides the opportunity for all GAC people to learn about relevant legislation and gives them the tools to take a proactive approach to compliance issues and ethical behaviour, ensuring GAC remains an industry leader in the field of ethics and compliance.

“One of the great things about the CNE course is that it illustrates and emphasizes for the employee the commercial and social importance of compliance and ethics. I learned that GAC understands not only the importance of ethics to the wellbeing of the company bottom line, but also its importance to the wellbeing of employees, their families, customers, suppliers, the community, and the environment. Knowing this is highly valuable and motivating for me in my position.”

“For me, the CNE course is a better guidance of GAC compliance and ethics. Once I studied through the course, I got a better picture of how GAC troubleshoots the modern day in-house, commercial, and financial issues. As a financial person, I am very interested in studying areas like: Anti-Money laundering, Anti- Corruption and Whistleblowing policies. Also, providing the relevant contacts amongst the GAC group to discuss our issues is really important. I believe complying our business and financial activities with local and international laws will certainly secure our position and increase our reputation among customers, shareholders, government bodies and all GAC employees.”
