Evolving work practices bring with them challenges and changes in the way we conduct business, from file-sharing amongst teams to working remotely – and they all impact our cyber security. While advances in technology have helped us stay connected and productive, it has also made us vulnerable to cyber security threats. In this new era of remote working, for example, phishing attacks are on an all-time rise.
GAC has proactively taken steps to protect the Group from cyber-attacks. As GAC employees, we are all responsible for identifying and avoiding fake emails and websites used to threaten company information.
In this Cyber Security Awareness Refresher (CSR) course, you will learn to identify cyber security threats and how to avoid them and safeguard your and GAC’s information.
The CSR course comprises one module, broken down into seven lessons and activities, culminating in the final Mastery Quiz.
The key elements of learning include:
- Basic online security
- Criminal phishing scams
- Importance of strong passwords
- Safe work-from-home practices
The Cyber Security Awareness Refresher (CSR) course runs for four weeks and is delivered via our state-of-the-art interactive online Learning Management System, GAClearn.
GCA eLearning courses require approximately five hours per week for all courses.
The GAC Group Management expects that all GAC employees are provided with sufficient time to complete the core requirements of each course within working hours.
