The Effective Business Writing (EBW) course is specifically designed to ensure GAC people understand the mechanics of creating appropriate, professionally written content in a business context. The ultimate intention is to ensure we, as both individuals and as a company, present ourselves as the hardworking, knowledgeable, customer focused experts that we are.
This practical course establishes a foundation of proper grammar and punctuation, brevity and clarity in writing, professional tone and structure and appropriate etiquette to create a well-written business communication. Participants are also introduced to proofreading and self-editing techniques to ensure all communication is clear and to the point.
EBW facilitators provide comprehensive feedback and corrections for all weekly submissions, ensuring that lessons are applied and understood in detail. Participants have the chance to discuss each other’s work, seeing first-hand how there are multiple ways to create an effective message and discussing the merits of different approaches to effective communication.
