GACfreight.NET (GFT) is the advanced version of GACfreight that will eventually replace the legacy GACfreight system. GFT provides a practical understanding of the new features in GACfreight.NET. In particular, GFT gives an overview of handling general freight, purchase orders, receiving goods, booking freight shipments and dispatching goods. GFT also features modules on supply base operations, the use of GACtrack and how to produce reports from GACfreight.NET.
There are three set roles (below) in the GFT course, which is configured to display only role-relevant lessons. Your certificate at the end of the course will also reflect your designated role.
Depending on your role, the GFT course covers the following key areas:
- Sales reports
- Freight export and import operations
- Global shipment tracking
- Data quality, compliance, import/export documentation
- Purchase order and warehousing
The GFT course is delivered in a self-paced format through GAClearn and can be completed in under an hour within a 4-week timeframe. All modules are assessed through a self-assessment quiz, culminating in a final quiz at the end of the course.
The GAC Group Management expects that all GAC employees are provided with sufficient time to complete the core requirements of each course within working hours.
Who Should Apply?
