GACagent.NET is GAC’s official shipping agency operational system, developed in-house to match the specific needs and requirements of the GAC Group and allowing for continuous evolution in line with customer requirements.
This course covers the fundamental Configuration settings, Master Data, Estimates, Jobs, Invoicing and Reporting functions of the system. Understanding how to use GACagent.NET and the reports that are available will help you make the best use of the system in your day-to-day activities.
There are eight set roles (below) in the GAN course, which is configured to display only role-relevant lessons. Your certificate at the end of the course will also reflect your designated role.
Depending on your role, the GAN course covers the following key areas:
- Introduction to Ship Agency and GACagent
- System Administration
- Creating Master Data
- Proforma and Tariffs
- Job Creation
- Job Handling
- Supply Logs
- Standard Reports
The GAN course is delivered in a self-paced format through GAClearn and can be completed in under an hour within a 4-week timeframe. All modules are assessed through a self-assessment quiz, culminating in a final quiz at the end of the course.
The GAC Group Management expects that all GAC employees are provided with sufficient time to complete the core requirements of each course within working hours.
