GCA Responsibilities:

As Business Manager, Sherol manages the GCA Strategy Map and overall strategy of the academy. She oversees both the supply and demand of the business and ensures smooth operations of all financials, performance management procedures and ISO Standards and procedures.


Research Interests:

Corporate education, e-Learning 2.0, social constructivism, corporate relations, new and improved ways of delivering high quality content, Moodle.

Sherol joined GCA in 2008 as a Human Resource Development Executive and since this time has been instrumental in developing quality-focused internal processes. She has played a key role in the development of GCA’s customer relationship management function, and developing the administrative system – GACknowledge.

In July 2015, Sherol transitioned to the ‘supply’ side of the business as GCA’s Operations Manager, with responsibility for delivering over 100 courses each year, in accordance with the ISO 29990 Quality Standard. Sherol oversees the continual development and refinement of existing course assets, together with the research and development function that develops, implements and operates future courses.

With more than seven years of technical knowledge associated with managing the client-side of GCA’s business, Sherol confidently leads the ongoing evolution of new and improved methods of delivering online and bespoke learning solutions.

In June 2016, Sherol was appointed Business Manager.
