The Oil and Gas Support Services (ONG) course is designed for GAC representatives handling support services to any client in the Oil and Gas sector. The course provides an overview of the activities and assets involved in the Oil and Gas industry, the role that internal and external stakeholders play and GAC’s Oil and Gas support services.
ONG ensures that participants are able to speak the language of the Oil and Gas industry, and culminates in participants actively identifying the role they can play in supporting GAC’s future Oil and Gas business across both upstream and downstream value chains.
The Oil and Gas Support Services course (ONG) covers the following key areas:
- Introduction to oil and gas
- The oil and gas industry
- GAC’s role in the upstream oil and gas business
- Customer business development in oil and gas
- Compliance requirements of the oil and gas industry
- Profitable and sustainable oil and gas business
The Oil and Gas Support Services course (ONG) runs for six weeks and is delivered via our state-of-the-art interactive online Learning Management System, GAClearn.
GCA eLearning courses require approximately five hours per week for all courses. It is the expectation of the GAC Group Management that all GAC employees are provided with sufficient time to complete the core requirements of each course within working hours. In order to establish higher results, participants are encouraged to fully complete all activities, and additional personal time may be required outside of working hours.
